Her birthday means I too am older, LOL Great how that all works out huh?
Anyway, birthdays are always a time of reflection for me. I remember her rearranging the contents of our refrigerator as soon as she could walk! To this day she is very organized, but she doesn't bother with rearranging the refrigerator anymore. ;-)
So, eighteen years have come and gone, this mama was beginning to feel quite old. (We also have a 23 year old)
Then the other day I woke up feeling so refreshed and full of energy. Perhaps it was my way of rebelling against my newfound discovery of "oldness". I've always been a bit of a rebel. Those that know me can vouch for me. None-the-less I was feeling pretty great and have been since that day. Although my two oldest are climbing the grown up ladder, I don't have to act my age right? LOL I feel great!
So, if you have an older child and the old age indicator turns on, don't worry about it. You're only as old as you feel. And if you happen to feel old...remember all of your blessings along the way and that is sure to refresh your body and renew your spirit!
Complete in Him,
